I just wanted to send this message to let you know that I got your card in the mail. I apologize for the delay in my response. I have been busy this past few days.
I just want to express my heartfelt gratitude for Mr. Rogers and all of you guys at Killingsworth! You don't even understand how much Mr. Rogers has blessed me and what sometimes feels like saved my life. I have been through so much over the past year - almost two years. Then, when this last incident occurred I thought for sure that I was just going to lose it!
Mr. Rogers stepped in and helped me and showed me grace and mercy at a time when I needed it the most. I am almost moved to tears even as I write this now. I am usually the one always giving and doing for others so when Mr. Rogers did what he did it felt so good to be on the receiving end for once.
Please continue to do the good work that you guys do, and continue to be kind to people because you never know who you will meet or how much of an impact you can have on a person that can truly be positively life changing.
Please pass this information along to Mr. Rogers. It has been my intention to call him and thank him again myself. If possible, will you forward me his email address so that I can personally thank him again myself. If not…please express my gratitude to him for all he has done for me!
Lastly, I hope we get to do another commercial because I really want to express to people how amazing he is and what the service has done for me.

Just to let you know a great crew finished the crawl space work this evening. It Looks so different. They even added to the crawl space door so it is now tightly closed, and sent the dead snake off in the dumpster with the removed insulation. The electrician should be here about noon tomorrow to make a permanent outlet. The dehumidifier is running now on the existing outlet used for the dry well pump. Very quiet. Thanks for pushing us to do this. Glad we followed your suggestions. We found a few more dead bugs, and since Friday night, no more big live roaches seen. Still waiting to see if they know they are not welcome. Will see you around, we hope.

We had a carpet emergency a few weeks ago and called Killingsworth since they do a great job with our yard. They fit us in that day to make sure our carpets would not get ruined and did an amazing job. We have used several companies around Charlotte, and Killingsworth did the best job out of all of them. They not only prepared us for the heat treatment, but assisted us with traveling tips to help prevent them in the future. I am getting ready to wrap up my management of Autumn Park effective 6-6-2012.
Having said that there is only one vendor that REALLY sticks out in my mind for the service offered, response time and professionalism- Killingsworth is that company- I have truly appreciated working with your associates in my time here.
Melissa Chaney has been absolutely wonderful to deal with: I know I drive her (and others) crazy with duplicate requests; billing questions and the list could go on and on but SHE NEVER shows or reflects anything except a genuine desire to help me -regardless of the situation: She is always prompt, professional and SO patient which I can say I appreciate more than anything.
I feel the same way regarding Matt: He is always on time, always has his information together and never leaves without touching base with a team member and communicates findings clearly- He is also a consummate professional! I appreciate working with both Melissa and Matt- they are absolutely wonderful and TRUE assets to your company- Matt is a pleasure to talk to, very easy going and even on the hottest and busiest days: He still smiles when he comes through the door- he has a great attitude-
We also recently got a new guy on the weekly pest sprays: He just started about a 4-6 weeks ago - I cannot think of his name but he is also absolutely wonderful! Very kind, patient and awesome at communicating findings with me- He is so nice- There are days that I am running crazy and he is always calm, kind and easy to talk to - He actually makes me feel more at ease even though the day is hectic- He is very thorough and he will ask me the next week if I had call backs on those units with special case circumstances or tough to please residents!- This guy is also great with the residents too! I have had a couple compliments on him and for him leaving notes that pest control was completed in particular homes- That extra step goes a long way for us in the office!
I really appreciate working with these 3 people and I will miss working with them when I go- I rarely send notes like this because I am a very hard grader when it comes to the vendors I deal with because I feel with over 580 units; dealing with so many vendors: I must ensure we are holding all vendors feet to the fire- That is my job- But I never have that need with you guys- because of Melissa, Matt and now this new guy- they have made my life a WHOLE lot easier and I am glad we made the switch to Killingsworth from Action Pest for ALL of the service needs of our site-

We just wanted to let you know that you can add us to your list of satisfied customers. Your team did a very good job of eliminating the mold and preparing the crawl space for dehumidification. When you inspected the job earlier today the humidification levels were already significantly improved. It appears that all of the crevices and gaps were sealed further providing for a dryer air experience in the crawl space.

I just wanted you to know how pleased we were with the service we received over the past month. We discovered at the end of July that we had a moisture problem in our crawl space. Immediately we began to research what we needed to do. We already use Killingsworth for our pest control. I had heard on the radio about your crawl space care.
I cannot say enough about your customer service, workmanship, and follow-up care.
I called and we had an appointment with in a short period of time. I talked with a very pleasant young woman about scheduling the appointment. I was a little nervous about the cost and what this project would entail. She immediately put me at ease.
On July 25th, Nick Baughn came out and gave us an estimate. My Husband and I discussed the estimate and decided with little effort to choose Killingsworth. I was very pleased with the price.
On August 10th the technicians (sorry I don’t remember their names) were there to begin the job. They told us that they would be here for a while, and they were not kidding. It was a big job. These gentlemen were very pleasant. At the end of the job they told us that they were done. I waited until my husband got home to go check it out. I could not believe what a good job they did, I don’t know what I expected, but I am very pleased.

Aaron Pressley accurately and clearly explained the process and very professionally marketed the program. He was also very responsive to our questions and in dealing with a minor problem that did occur after the job was completed.
Alfredo "Fred" Guiterrz and his crew worked extremely hard to get everything done on schedule. They appear to have done an outstanding job -- I can't wait to get back home to check things out personally, as I was having foot surgery at that time and could not do so before they left. The crawlspace was left spotless and just looked awesome. Fred and his colleagues handled themselves professionally at all times, and as I said before, consistently worked very hard. When they left the finished job, they had cleaned up completely.

I want you and your staff to know that your crew did a great job. I have worked in the trade industry since retiring from the navy in 1999 and retiring from Duke Power in 2010. I have seen many trades work while working out of my bucket truck in the past. I think that your company is very well managed and they have built excellent employees within their company.
Jeremy and his crew did a great job and they cleaned up every day as well. We had XXXXXX Insulating Company come out on Monday and spray insulation in the attic. They took no precautions and sprayed insulation all over the living space of the house. My wife spent 2 days cleaning up, and thanks to the HEPA filter your guys placed in the house we were able to get it cleaned up. I looked in the attic and don’t like the fact they sprayed uneven and spotty, they also did not put the bats back over the door and that was letting hot air into the house. While Jeremy was talking to me that afternoon he told me that you guys do a tap insulation and I would like to know more about that process. I will be using your company for a long time. Please pass this along to your staff.

I am writing to let you know how pleased I was with the work that Jeremy and his crew recently did at my home. I was surprised when we were told that the vapor barrier only covered 60% of my crawl space and we had a mold problem. Within a week, we had your team perform the suggested treatment and they did a great job. Jeremy called me to let me know that he was on the way, and kept me updated throughout the process. The electricians and the contractor (Mike) that ran the air pipe for the furnace were all punctual and professional.
Jeremy and his crew worked all day long and were very thorough. I am pleased with the results. Killingsworth has serviced our home since it was built in 2003 and will continue to do so in the future.

I just want to take a few minutes to commend Fred and his partner for an excellent job. They were friendly and informative about what was going on. Fred took me under the house to explain the dehumidifier. He showed me the sealed vents and caulked joints. He also explained how he cleaned the joists. I am quite confident my mold and moisture problems will be abated significantly by what they did. They left the crawlspace cleaner than some of the homes I've been in!

In the fall of 2009 we found that we had a mold issue in the crawl space of our home. I got estimates from a few mold specialist companies and decided to go with Killingsworth. I found them to be very professional, low key and very informative. The workmen were polite, careful, tidy and hardworking. We chose to have the mold treated with dry ice blasting and then treated with chemicals to discourage any new growth. We also chose to have the EZ breathe system installed in the crawl space as well. The air in our home is now so much fresher and purer. Cooking odors do not linger and my allergies are much better. I am confident that the mold has been removed and won't be back. I can honestly say that I would highly recommend Killingsworth to anyone needing mold treatment.

We had a beetle, a tiny little beetle that three other &squot;bug companies&squot; could not rid us of! One visit and Killingsworth earned our business… they got rid of the beetle! While they were here, they inspected the rest of the house, inside and out. Their evaluation discovered a serious problem under our home with moisture and mold! They immediately identified the problem, set us up for the evaluation and moved forward with the plan to fix it! Their work was great, their team focused! With the orchestration and accuracy of a well greased gear, they arrived with a mission! As my Dad always said, “Be the job big or small, do it right or not at all…Once the job has begun, do not quit until it is done.” This is how the Killingsworth team functions!

Dear Killingworth Environmental Family:
I recently purchased a property in Pisgah Forest, NC with a crawlspace in a severe state of condition. The dirt ground of the crawlspace has standing water in several places throughout. What remains of the insulation, is literally dripping from the beams and several toxic forms of mold can be easily spotted on the floor beams and plumbing throughout the entire crawlspace.
I have had four companies provide quotes, one of which did not even personally inspect the property and instead, provided an itemized emailed quote based on the dimensions I provided. Another company provided a quote, but informed me that they “do not handle insulation”. While being one of the only companies that “does it all”, Killingsworth Environmental was the only company who followed up with me. The representative, Ronnie Pressley, was very thorough in responding to my questions (I had several) and emailing as well as calling me to make sure I had all the information needed. Ronnie also seems to be genuinely understanding of our situation and has been willing to work with us to ensure that the crawlspace is permanently fixed. Most importantly, we have been made to feel confident that the home’s air quality will be made safe and that we will be able to expect quality service throughout remediation process.
I am looking forward to Killingsworth Environmental to start work on my property. I am confident that we will be pleased and will recommend this company to family and friends.

I have been a customer of Killingsworth Enviromental for the past year. I have recently had my year inspection. I was a previous customer of Orkin for almost 30 years, but it was time for a change since I had not been happy with them for a long time. Many times I would have to call them to get my house inspected, they were never dependable. I have even had to call the Atlanta office to get them to get them to come inspect my home.
I want you to know how very pleased I am that I am now with Killingsworth Enviromental. I had a problem under my house with mice nests all under the insulation, which they had pushed it all to where it was hanging down, alot was pushed out on the ground. The moisture was really bad, and the mold was really built up on the whole underside of the house. It could not have gotten so bad in a year's time. Orkin wanted a ridiculous amount to repair and replace it all, but were not going to kill the mold. This is when I got in touch with Killingsworth with the advice of my son. They came told me all I needed to know about killing the mold and re insulating completely, and take care of and solve the moisture problem. They have a very professional crew that came and worked on my house, they were courteous and kept everything very neat, and cleaned up after it was completed. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is having any problem, it would certainly be worth your time. May I mention the fact that they cured my moisture problem to where the humidity is exacting what it should be now, and I have no moisture problem and the rodents are gone, and they did the job for 1/3 less than Orkin had planed to charge, the wood now looks like the house has just been recently built, it has no sign of mold.

I want to tell how much I appreciate the professionalism of your company on the fungal job that you did for me. I was out of town in Colorado when my daughter and her husband found that my hot water heater was leaking underneath my house. By the time they realized it, the crawl was flooded with water and the hot water heater was spraying water everywhere. They got the water turned off and called you the next day. You had someone out to inspect the crawl space the same day. She also had contacted another company to compare quotes. Your company was by far quicker at scheduling an inspection and quote and also happened to be cheaper. Apparently, I had the leak for a while because the insulation had to be replaced underneath the house once the crawl was treated. Your guys were able to do everything from removing the insulation to treating the crawl and replacing the insulation. Your company is top notch. I would recommend Killingsworth to anyone.
